survey because it lets us know

what we're looking for

Ideas

What I think about surveys

-I think it's quite useful depending

on how you use it.

Learning Issues

What I found out in the survey

-We must know the purpose

for doing the survey first.

Lesson 4 Reflection

What we have done so far?

We have learned and found out what can we do to efficiently use dead leaves and to use them as creatively as possible for the good of recycling.

What do we want to do next?

We would want to find out more about the various uses of dead leaves and also to build a prototype of an educational toy or machine which reuses dead leaves.

What have we learnt?

We have learnt the uses of dead leaves and that the various methods of reusing dead leaves are unique.

Lesson 5 reflection

We have assigned the tasked that each one of us are supposed to do and we will carry it out as soon as possible. We plan to complete the research by March. Through different sources, we believe we can get some ideas for the uses of dead leaves.

REFLECTIONS FOR WEEK 5 LESSON 4

WHAT HAVE WE DONE SO FAR? : We have researched on the various ways to recycle dead leaves and how to use them in creative ways.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO DO NEXT? : We want to continue finding out new ideas on the project.

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNT? : We have learnt the importance of teamwork.
LESSON 4 REFLECTIONS : Each member of the group must think of an idea of their own and then the whole group will then sit down and consider all the ideas and choose the best possible one.

CONTRIBUTIONS : I contribute to the group by offering my ideas and also helping them with the worksheets etc.My idea for a product is maybe a toy using dead leaves.
Reflections:

Contact between members and they must work together nicely to get the best out of themselves. We should also compromise and try to listen to anything our other fellow members want to say.

Contributions:

As for now i can only think of using dead leaves to do art and that will certainly spark of some young minds of young children nowadays. and it's 100% free too.
Our group are not having a product idea because as we've stated, we're just going to show and probably take a video to show the ideas we've found to use dead leaves.

Our progress of research is not really very fast or whatever, because the internet is quite limited. So we're planning on heading to the library one day to get relevant books. We'll also try to ask friends and families if there are any quirky ideas of how dead leaves can be used. Also we would want to know the things stated in our guiding questions. such as "how many people actually recycle dead leaves" etc.

We would plan a one day research at the library and after that spend another day gathering our information and making the presentation video. Hopefully everything will be well.

Reflections for lesson 3

Some questions that are still going around in my head:

How can i figure out more ways of using dead leaves and how we present them to our audience.

3 things I learned:

Dead leaves can be used to do art. Feed fishes. And it's not good to rake them up at one corner because it leaves a bare ground that's exposed to the elements. This encourages erosion, unwanted weeds and is tough on existing plants

Ideas that i agree with:

We should reuse/recycle as many things as we can. Though it's a very small effort, it still makes an important effect.
